JOIN US ON A TRIP TO REYNOSA, MEXICO

Please Note DEADLINE to Register

March 24, 2019, in the church office by 12:30 pm.
If you miss this deadline, we'd encourage you to sign up right away for the next trip that is available right now online.

What:

We partner with Strategic Alliance, its founders Roland and Carolyn Ashby, and a local church in the Colonia to build homes for the homeless, spend time with sponsor children of the Escuela Viva program, and minister to the people of the Colonia.

Who:

Anyone is welcome to join the team; this is a family-friendly trip. All minors must be accompanied by a parent. Anyone with a heart to love on people will find their place on this team. From experienced carpenters to people with little to no construction experience, we will have the opportunity to see the fruits of our labor as we build multiple homes from start to finish in 4 days.

Key Involvement:

This trip will be a mixture of home building, Bible distribution, relationship-building, evangelism, and outreach. There are many different opportunities to serve.

People Needed:

There are unlimited roles this trip can provide. A few of the many needs: prayer warriors, leaders, disciple-makers, willing servants, those with construction experience, those with painting experience, and those without experience willing to try something new for God’s purpose and for His glory.

Length of Trip:

The trip is 4 days AND IS THURSDAY TO SUNDAY

Appeal:

Anyone desiring to take their first step into mission work or build a relationship with their Escuela Viva sponsor child should prayerfully consider joining us on the trip.

Cost:

There is an adult cost and a child cost. A child is anyone 12 and under. This cost covers transportation, meals, and lodging. Cash is recommended for personal snacks and our lunch during the trip down (usually at Rudy’s BBQ in Pharr, Texas).

"The King will reply, ’Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ " - Matthew 25:40
